- Surface preparation & application
- Self-priming - no separate primer needed. Mix base and hardener 1:1 (CTE-1); thin with Gemguard Epoxy Thinner 5-20%. Surface must be clean and free from oil, dust and loose particles. Paint only on a dry surface, with the object's temperature well above the dew point, to avoid bubbles/pin holes. Avoid over-thick or over-thinned application, high heat/wind and cold surfaces - these cause orange peel, wrinkling and sagging.
