The red oxide undercoat in the Calista Sparkle system, used on cleaned mild steel before an enamel topcoat. Its job is to stop corrosion restarting under the paint film and to give the enamel a key to grip. The traditional red colour also hides patchy repair work on an old gate. Rated at 90 to 110 square feet in two coats, with a twelve-month system guarantee. Packs: 1, 4, 10 and 20 litres.
